aborts question...

ok im pretty sure i have an abort (this is my first time so i dont really know) but it was about the first pin i got and it was fairly big and another big pin i had has grown a lot bigger then this other pin i think is an abort...the head has turned back aswell...what i need to know is, when do you take off the aborts? in the faq it says to take them off after the flush but on other sites ive heard you should take them off asap...also do you just take them off like when you harvest?

I remove the aborts as soon as I recognize them.
