If it's illegal, how are all these places selling them? And if buying them like that is not an option, what then? Grow em?

Most sites are in Canada. Auction sites have them too. Sellers market them as floral arrangement items. Its risky. And hell yeah grow them. Its easy. Planting season is coming soon, if you didn't get a jumpstart in the fall. Read the sticky at the top of the forum threads. Great info there.

Ok, been reading a lot of posts tonight and looking as if growing is the way to go...I have these seeds. I got them in 2005 from a ethno-botanical store with salvia, spores, MG seeds, woodrose seeds etc...they say Papaver somniferum 'giganteum'. I suppose these are worthy? I had a choice of 3 different kinda and I picked these. I put a few out in the garden but they never grew, so I put the rest away. I'm looking at them right now.

As cheap as they are, get some fresh ones. Giganteums have huge pods. If that concerns you opt for tasmanians or persian whites.

So then buying the seeds is still legal? Any trusted sellers, ? I probably would not like having 4" bulbs peering out at my neighbors or anything. I am considering just doing this indoors since I have all the MH's, and stuff from past "other" growing adventures. I mean, I want maximum pods per square foot. I can put them under 400 watt, ill keep it vented and watered. Read that it's similar to growing bud right?
I have been reading about the Persians, and the Taz, are they especially potent for the size?

WAY overpriced. I´m out of pods. You pay a lot and still have to endure that nasty-nasty taste. And still have to deal with variable potency.
