Got myself a little cactus to chill in my basement with me :

I think it's a neat looking little cacti.

How often should I water this cock sucker? Right now the dirt feels really dry.

Im sure it wont get too big if you keep it in that pot. If you put it in a bigger pot it will get bigger. That seemed redundant. Hey man, you can take that fake flower off the top if you want. Im still confused as to why they do that.

I have one,and I'm almost 100 percent that it is a Cereus peruvianus.They can get huge man,and if I were you I'd get it a much bigger pot,and give it a bit of water.Also,you could take that fake green flower off the top,I don't know why they do that to cacti :grin:

Iunno why they put it neither. Oh well.

I saw some pics and they can grow huge if you plant it in the ground!

Do you know how often to water it?

Yeah,they can get huge if put in the ground,but they can get really big in a bigger pot too.Mine got tons of water this summer,so it would be hard to over water one of them.Just give it a good water once a week,and it will be happy.You can also give it a mild dose of fertilizer too once a month,and it will grow nice and strong :grin:

I grow brugmansia, grown weed, grown mushrooms(magic kind), morning glory.

I'm gonna start growing tobacco and Poppy and who knows what else.

Not many Montrealer's on here eh? Bummer.

I'm a tweaker though so I don't really grow many things.

I'm in Laval, more exactly around Pont-Viau, which is at 2mins from Montreal.

The only things I grow here are a few trichocereus cacti and some peyote (lophophora williamsii) :tongue:

I have a bunch of baby cereus that look just like the cacti in his pic,that's why I though that was what it was.You can't say my baby cereus doesn't resemble his cactus a little bit.Oh and Juke,your cereus is beautiful :grin:

No probs I have a fair few pups sitting on the bed in the spare room, by they time the chillies are ready to harvest the pup should be ready to send.
