When I turned 40 my whole outlook on life changed.I got the nerve and took off from where I was living with 1500 dollars to my name.I moved to Florida,I was literally on the highway where it split to go to Tampa or Orlando and decided on Tampa and ended up in Saint Petersburg,that is how free I was at that point in time to make a decision totally unrelated to any ties what so ever.I found a job and a place to live within 2 weeks.I did not know anyone and had never been there,pretty ballsy some would say.
It may not be that way for some people but it was for me.I was in the restaurant biz with 20 years experience so that was a factor in getting employment also.You never know until you actually do something what could be.
I am back in school now and out of the restaurant biz,I will be an RN in 2010,take chances,live life,be of the world,not just in it.I hope this helps.

The air force was the only branch I even considered joining,I did not.I have been working since I was 13.
