I think it's strange if that why you take psychedelics. I take them to learn more about myself and I never lose grip of who I am to the core, maybe subtleties about my daily life.

I use psychedelics for increased personal power, intellectual understanding, sharpened insight into self and culture, improvement of life situation, accelerated learning, professional growth. For duty, help of others, providing care, rehabilitation, rebirth for fellow men. For fun, sensuous enjoyment, aesthetic pleasure, interpersonal closeness, pure experience. For transcendence, liberation from ego and space-time limits; attainment of mystical union.

So you've never had ego death?
Take more mushrooms.
I take mushrooms to see beyond myself, because who the fuck am I?

Without a bit of experience it is like sending some dumbass into an arena to fight some bas ass gladiator of a trip. No experience means he gets his ass kicked for punching above his weight.

People who arent prepared or carelessly take trips are likely to damage themselves basically. A small minority may not be able to handle trips too.

Well yeah,
I guess that makes sense,
but people just need to know what they're getting themselves into,
people think on shrooms they'll just sit around and laugh,
they've never even heard of ego death.
So that's the persons fault to blame, the drugs are doing exactly what they're supposed to.
Ignorance is to blame.
Not sure if you're agreeing with me or not, but, well I'm done.

I definately agree with that.
Some people take the shit to see beyond themselves and all that wonderful stuff (like most of us),
some can take anything and won't freak out,
but the majority of people don't like having their souls ripped out of them, i dont think anyway.

He didn't have a bad trip i was with him the entire time, it just wasn't for him.

Haha,
A lot of my friends try to get shrooms off of me, but I won't give more then a gram to some of them because I don't think they'll like it, and most of the time I'm right.
I'd feel responsible if they did something to harm themselves.

I would say way, way, way less than zero.
You have to think, there are parties and raves and clubs every night full of hundreds of people on psychedelic drugs.
I don't think there are a few people from each of those parties with permanent damage from drugs.

Imo, every single experience is some kind of trip and every single experience changes you. You call it permanent damage, I call it personal development.

I've never heard anyone express it so well, I can identify with all of that reasoning. +5 to you and I'm quoting you in my sig.

I did say that, yes.
Let's try way, way way less than 1.

And how have you come to this finding?
How many people in 100 are suited to enjoying a psychedlic trip and how many will screw up because of it in your opinion?

People that are mentally unstable, not like clinically mental ill or anything. But some people can't handle psychedelics. My friend is an example.
