Anything which is not the culture intended to be grown constitutes contamination.
Golden Teacher spores on your PR agar plate = contamination.

So, whats up? You got fleas on your cakes??

I had this problem once a while back on dung. I was freaked out cause there was like 20-30 buzzing in the big rubbermaid I had.

RK told me to spray some tobacco water once per day. I didn't do it cause I didn't want to buy a pack of cigarettes. I let it go, and everything was fine.

Watch them closely to make sure they aren't breeding. If they are ditch the stuff. It ain't worth all those little fuckers all over your house. When they start breeding you will see little tiny almost microscopic white dots. They will move so you should be able to notice them even though they are so small.

I had those infest some of my wheat straw. It was awful. Much worse then any other contam.

yea, thier annoying, but thier so cute when they find thier way out of the tub and land on your moniter ever 5 mintues, then you smash them so easily with your finger and you have all kinds of smears on the screen. Gotta give them that one for originality.
