Sterilize Earthworm casting?

Just wondering if I need to sterilize earthworm casting before using it to be spawned by PF jars. It is high quality earthworm casting and saids its already sterilized but has important mycro-organisims good for fending off contams...

If you sterilize you kill the micro organisms !
I'm not sure pf tek says to use worm castings , I thought it was BRF/VERM mix , but what do I know , just another nit wit in cyber land ! :tongue:

If using as a bulk sub , you can sterilize or pasturize . Either or this or that , read some FAQS .

bake them at 250 degrees for 90minutes.
Bake for 60mins then stir em up then bake them for another 30min.
This works excellent. Also make sure to moisten/add water to your worm casings before baking so they get nice and sterilized :smile:
