Question about mail...??? WHAT ABOUT PACKAGES?

If something is sent to me, but with a phony name... will I still receive it? The address is correct, but the name is not registered to my house.

Anyone know?? THANKS.

EDIT: Will packages be delivered too? Really small mailbox that probably doesn't fit, and will end up at my front door.

yep, i recently shipped my xbox to be repaired, and for some reason the shipping details entered some random name, stilled showed up at my house.

As long as the address is correct its fine, for instance. I use my middle name and never, EVER my first name unless legally needed. It just in case anything ever happens. (Yes I am that paranoid)

Thanks guys. I was thinking about putting a note in my mailbox that says that a letter was sent to me with an incorrect name and that it was an accident.

Still a good idea or forget putting a note for the mailman/woman??

Just don't pick a name that has a forwarding address or it will get forwarded :shocked:
