You know that was a question I had. the tray is just sitting in my closet right now. I was just going to cut up the foil so everyone gets at least a dime size good decent print and toss it in an envelope. Can't spores flying around my room get in there and screw everything up? I could easily wrap each print in some aluminum foil before mailing. Any ideas for best mailing method.

I think wrapping them up in foil and a piece of paper then stickin' em in an envelope would work fine.

no print is sterile. fact. search it if you dont believe me.
cleaner than some, maybe, but definitely not sterile.
thats why alot of people recommend using agar to get 'clean' uncontamed myc.
I still want one.

You should be making those spore prints in a glove box so that they are sterile. Those will more than likely be contammed with something. That doesnt mean you have to throw them away, you can still start them on agar and isolate the good myceluim from the contams.
Either way, I would still take one.

to add, I have been making my own syringes from my own prints a while now. I still get my 1 out of 10 WBS jars with contamination. I can live with this for now, although 10% does sound pretty crappy.

Just cut up a lot of the prints to make them smaller so I can mail to more people.
I have maybe another 30-50 prints now.
