Comfy chair
    #967824 - 10/17/02 12:20 AM (21 years, 5 months ago)

I wonder how much more pleasant society would be if there were more of a widespread focus on physical comfort... and healthiness as a whole... eating, sleeping, excercise.. what if our government actually cared about how healthy we were... It would probably dramatically increase nationwide happiness at a very inexpensive cost.

im really stoned off some hash, and i had the brilliant idea to replace my uncomfortable wooden computer chair with the cushioned rocking chair in my bedroom... fucking brain science im tellin you...

Your so absolutely right it blows my mind.

I've found that how I position my body GREATLY effects thought patterns while I'm tripping.
Now I'll only sit lotus style, lie down, or be on my feet constantly while tripping.
But allowing myself to sit in weird positions is just not good.

ah man.. cant get over how pleasant this makes using the computer...

going to the shroomery used to mean cramped legs and back and shoulders and whatnot.. but now, my brain is liberated from those pain receptors, ah ha!

I know what you're talking about Dee... whilst tripping I find it very unpleasant to sit in some positions, I get very restless.. but when I sit lotus style or am standing or lying down it is much more relaxing and "natural" for the flow of energy

I fidget AND writhe.   but I usually put my coat on while tripping.  It is like my security blanket.  :P

Here here Bravo bravo

[stands and applauds]

I think you are onto something.  What we really need is a good government program to take all the money away from the Greedy rich Republican bastards that don't need it (like Bill Gates Gggrrrr! ) and give everyone a comfy chair!

We would have world peace immediately.

Hell yeah, when your tripping especially off acid, your trip is sooo much better if you lounge on a soft piece of furniture and wear a robe :-D

hey hey ... the greeks we're big health nuts and look and what they did. the results of a healthy society would be positive in so many ways. i've been a health nut for a year now and campared with my 18 years before ... i'd say im the happiest now even though this one year has seen more shit and tribulations then the others.

good health has helped me get through it and shrug it off

then again if homie wants to eat burgers instead of running thats his/her choice and i sure wouldn't want goverment to tell me how to live and worse yet enforce it.

sometimes when im running and im hitting the 2 mile mark and just have one more mile to go i think .... theres some guy at home eating 3 bacon cheeseburgers, watching tv, and thinking what a retard those health nuts are for wasting thier time running in a big circle!

yeah his heart is wasting away ... and he'll die young (maybe) .. just remember george burns

but i'll live another 10 to 30 years 9 (feel better too) but for what ... do i really want to extend my timecard on earth.
