Hi everyone, I just had my first success with P. cubensis. MonoTubs are the shit.
Tub #1

Tub #2

Tub #3

Well, now I'd like to try Pan Cyan and Pan Tropicalis. I made a LC on 12/22. I used the Karo tek. Are they ready to use/put in the fridge? All pictures are after stirring.

How do they look? I hope it's not too late to refrigerate.
Thanks.

There isn't a lot of mycelium, but given they are pans and not cubes, they look ok. Not too late to refrigerate.

Shroomer Smurf, love your monotub harvests. they are great! excellent size on some of those giants i wanted to ask you about the LC. your post shows 1/28/09 with the date on the jars of 12/22/08. does it actually take a month for your mycelia to grow to that size? i'm starting a small LC grow and wanted to know a time frame to expect. thanks, houdinihar

I advise testing those lc's on a small scale first, just to determine viability.

IMO that is slow growth for pan mycellium in lc.i just started an lc from pan print last week, and it is showing much more growth than those jars.maybe its the temp your keeping your jars at. i keep my lc's at a minimum of 78 degrees while growin

I think it took longer because I used 600ml of water and 30ml of Karo. Most LC teks use only 200ml of water and 10ml of Karo. Plus I didn't stir as much as I should have with this LC.

I thought LC jars did best at between 70-75 degrees. My Amazonian & PE LC's did fine at those temps.
