my limited experience is no. i thought that too at first but i have no fruit from the fuzziest parts.

is fluff a normal sign on a cake, what is it caused by?
i've fruited other cakes before that did not get the fluff, and if they did it was in between flushes.
i've had my cakes birthed now for about a week, no fruits yet, any ideas to how long it might be, i think they are all just hawaiians and treasure coasts.

ok so the fuzz on some of em is getting quite a bit bigger. whats the deal with that.
i hope they still fruit ok.

I wouldnt say fluffy is GOOD, but, its most likely just mycelium growth. The moisture and humidity is probably high, that growth is a good indication.

The mushrooms will not necessarly form there..

ya the fuzz is fine, its just myc. that is still growing.....
you should get fruits anyday now....
sometimes u get fruit from the fuzz, sometimes not.....

u could drop the humidity or temp a bit to tell the myc to stop growin and start fruiting... but its really not a problem.... unless it just keeps growin with no mushrooms for like 2-3weeks....
