Where I am at drying dung out would be a long process due to changing seasons and time. Could someone link me a supplier where I can purchase some bagged manure?

Try the scotts 3in1 organic compost,It worked well for my projects,i get mine from lowes or home depot. :wink:

opus...lol
penguin-do you have a zoo near you? if you do, you could volenteer (sp?). once a month they usually just till the dung into the ground. they let volenteers take home some for gardens. if you get the first of the month droppings, they are ready to go.

Lay it out on any floor, crumble as best you can & place a big box style fan in front of it -- on high. It will dry in a matter of days.

Scotts 3N1 is not available everywhere. Most bagged manure was left in a pile to rot, rather than turned & composted. It also generaly contains about 50% wood byproducts. So, it is not all that great. Straight dry dung, is IMHO better, by far.

LSOS says in their Sack-o-shit tek, to use Northwoods Compost/Manure. If i can find it then I will possibly use that.

Any other recommendations besides poo?

Just collect the dry stuff from the pasture, then you dont ahve to dry it :smile:
