If it is impossible for someone (outside of illegal immigrants) to live in this country without paying different fees to the government, then anyone wishing to live in this country with acknowledgment from the government must find a way to pay these fees.
Growing up in this society, one becomes conditioned to this way of life and begins to feel a job is necessary. I feel the pressure of knowing that you have a future filled with seemingly endless debts, has put many Americans in a subtle, subconscious state of panic and anxiety.
As a way to distract our conscious mine from troubles (which we so often do), technologically-enhanced material possessions find a niche in the human psyche. People become lost in their material possessions and lose sight of what is truly important in life, while consciously forgetting about the pressures, but still living in a subconscious state of panic.
