Grow your citrus in half barrel or bigger planters. They'll produce fruit sooner than if you plant them in the ground. As long as you winter them in like a garage or somewhere to protect them from freezing, they'll produce fruit for 4 or 5 years. After which you can plant them in the ground to keep them producing or you can start over. Starting new trees every 3 or 4 years will keep you in supply. Just be sure to place the planters on something with wheels or high enough off of the ground so that you can get a handcart under them. Otherwise they can be a real bitch to move.

I've got 2 1/2 acres to plant so I'll be growing: sweet corn potatoes (russet, yukon gold, red, tons of tatters) beans (state half runners, Burpee's stringless, Kentucky Wonder, pinto, tons of beans) onions (green/spring, red, yellow, sweet onion, lots of onions) shallots (Holland Red, golden) garlic (Russian Red, Italian Late, Siberian, German Red Rocambole, lots of garlic) lettuce (green & red leaf, radicchio, curly endive, tango, romaine) peppers (habanero, Caribbean red, jalapeno, cherry bomb, cayenne long slim, ancho, anaheim/ new mexico, tons and tons of peppers) cantaloupe (Hale's best jumbo, ambrosia) watermelon (new queen hybrid=has yellow flesh, Georgia rattlesnake) cabbage (green) tomatoes (Brandywine, beefstake, Hillbilly heirloom, Mr. Stripey another heirloom, cherry, roma, lots of roma) cucumbers (straight eight, true lemon=looks like & size of a lemon, white wonder) herbs (lemon thyme, french thyme, parsley=flat & curly, rosemary, sage, peppermint, spearmint, oregano, dill, basil, cumin) Maybe some other things, haven't decided yet.
And of course, can't forget the pot! Currently growing a cross between Skunk #1 and Bubblegum, next crop will be something different just don't know what type yet.

I used to be interested in growing weed, but I find ethnobotanical plants much more fun to grow
