What is everybody gowing in 2009?

Well, only about two months until spring guys, and for us growers that can mean only one thing, planting seasonI'm curious as to what some of my buddies on here are going to grow.A few minutes ago I started up some Moon flowers,Kanna,Horned melon,Okra,Bell peppers, and Rivea Corymbosa, and I can't wait to see how they turn out.I'm really exited about the Horned melon, they are a really weird fruit.also, they sell for four dollars a piece at the supermarket! This is only the beginning to what I'll be growing.I have hundreds of seeds to start, and have to do it a little at a time so I don't overwhelm myself.I'll be posting a full grow log on all of my plants too,so stay tunedOh,and justme, you will be getting samples of all the plants I mentioned too,so look for the package in a week or so.If you guys will be growing something cool that I don't have,I can trade some seeds that I may have that you don't.That's the main reason of this post,so we can all see what each other is growing, and do some trades

I've never seen an actual Kanna grow, I'm not really familiar with the effects of it either. Care to elaborate on it?
I have: Poppies N. Rustica Lemon Tree Various Cacti Mangroves (Red and White) Datura Morning Glories A few palms
My dream herb/gourd died, I should replant my spare seed.

Right on guys, there are some good plants on these listsI see a bunch of plants listed that I don't have seeds of.Oh,and Amberica, sorry to hear about your dream herb plant. My Datura metel suffered from that cold too,and lost all of their leaves.I don't know if they will come back or not.I've never seen kanna grown from seed before either. It really sound like an awesome plant to grow. Here is some info I found on it.a succulent herb commonly found in South Africa, which is also known as Kanna, Channa, Kougoed (Kauwgoed) - which literally means, 'chew(able) things/goodies' or 'something to chew'. The plant has been used by South African pastoralists and hunter-gatherers as a mood-altering substance from prehistoric times. The first known written account of the plant's use was in 1662 by van Riebeeck. The traditionally prepared dried sceletium was often chewed and the saliva swallowed, but it has also been made into gel caps, teas and tinctures. It has also been used as a snuff and smoked.Sceletium is known to elevate mood and decrease anxiety, stress and tension. It has also been used as an appetite suppressant by shepherds walking long distances in arid areas. In intoxicating doses it can cause euphoria, initially with stimulation and later with sedation. Users also report increased personal insight, interpersonal ease and a meditative, grounded feeling without any perceptual dulling. Having such properties Sceletium is classified as an empathogen type herb. Others have noted enhanced tactile and sexual response, as well as vivid dream inducing properties. High doses produce distinct inebriation and stimulation often followed by sedation. The plant is not hallucinogenic,[3] contrary to some literature on the subject, and no adverse effects have been documented. Kanna is considered a potentiator (enhancer of effects) for other psychoactive herbal material.I really hope mine sprout, and if they don't I'll have to find some body that can send me some cuttings,as I really want to grow some of these.

Thanks man!! I hope your Kanna does well! I knew I would forget something. I am going to try to grow some lemon and orange trees but I want to bonsai them or at least keep them small enough to bring indoors.
