Adding stevia to Pre-Pastuerized Substrates, need to Past...stevia?
    #9677244 - 01/25/09 05:45 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

I already have my bulk substrate pasteurized and wanted to add Stevia, The crushed leaves I have are sealed in original packaging. Instead of re-pasteurizing everything could the stevia just be pasteurized and added during spawn. Would it be neccessary to wet the Stevia or not? since it is used in such a small amount (2%) I was also thinking of just using the oven to pasteurize it without adding moisture. I will be utilizing a mono-tub if that little info helps. Thanks

There ya go. Just don't burn it.  You can mist it lightly with h20.

What would you suggest for a time, I don't want to "toast" it like you mentioned, yet want to make sure the job gets done
