If you want to get serious about growing, you really want to look into liquid cultures.
You'll need a jar of some sort. Tall ones are best but any will work. Poke 2 holes in the jar on opposite sides of the lid. Cover on with tyvek, micropore tape or stuff with a thick wad of polyfill. All 3 will work.
The other hole, cover both sides with about a dime sized glob of silicone rubber. You can also use the silicone to permanently secure your tyvek or micropore if you go that route.
The best/cheapest/easiest method I've found is to get packets of sugar in the raw - you can find this in most grocery stores in the sugar section and alot of convenience stores/coffee shops (starbucks etc.) will have them for free.
Bring a pot of water to boil, put 1 packet of sugar per cup. Boil and stir till it's dissolved, then load it into your jar - fill it up about halfway.
Then pressure cook it, or put it in a pot of water - bring the water in the pot about halfway up the side of the jar and boil for 30 minutes.
If you pressure cook it, do 5 mins @15 psi.
Once it's done, let it cool overnight or all day then inject about 1/2 cc of spore solution. In about 10-14 days you'll have a large blob of mycelium in there, you can draw that back out and use to inoculate an endless supply of jars. If you start to run low or think you'll need more, just make more then 1 jar or start a second one ahead of time.
It's pretty simple stuff and easy to do.

I'm going to state something in black and white here:
Discussion of dealing/distribution not only puts your ass on the line, but can also get this community in a great deal of trouble. Don't talk about it here. Don't rationalize it here, either.
Anyway, to answer a few of your questions..
You could probably get away with knocking up 12 cakes with one spore syringe, if you use 1cc of solution per cake or so and only using one inoculation point. Since you're new to cultivating, this wouldn't be a good idea, so I'd suggest sticking to somewhere between 6-8.
Also, you don't really need micropore tape with PF cakes, if you're using a vermiculite barrier. If you're anal about it, masking tape works just as fine as a dust cover, but will need to be removed later on to permit gas exchange.
You only need 4 inoculation holes. Using 1 is a terrible idea, which will make colinisatin take much longer. You can use 1 in grain, since after 30% you can shake to distrube the mycelium throughout the jar. But you cant in pf jars, which would destroy your contamination barrier.
Dont use any more than 4 holes in your lids. The holes are not only for inoculating but for gas exchange. The more holes you have in the lid, the more exchange. 4 holes is plenty gas exchange, add more and you could risk drying out your substrate, and also it can cause the mycelium to consume more of the substrate during colinisation.
A 10cc syringe can inoculate 10 jars. 1cc per jar works fine. I have always used 1cc per jar. Just be sure to give your syringe a good shake to spread the spores throughout the solution. I have had on occasions 1 or 2 injectin sites not grow though. The jars still colinised.
The micropore tape, or masking tape over the holes is there to stop moisture getting into the jars during sterilisatin.
