if there ever was a universal cycle of death and rebirth, its over now, friend. the universe is expanding to fast, and, like nos from a whip-it, it will become cold and barren.

"..some sort of climax"
I often envision the apocalypse as a globe spanning orgy... but that's just me.
I can't say where we're headed but god knows I don't want to go where we've already been.
I don't want to live (or not) through a world war.
George W and friends must go.

I don't know. No one does! But I don't think the apocalypse is coming as a lot of people do. I don't see any evidence for it. Everybody thinks that, if the way things are going right now don't work out, there is going to armageddon. I don't believe in armageddon, just change. I also believe that everything comes back to some starting space so I think this will happen on a cosmic level.
Just a hunch...

For the record I don't believe in a big bad armageddon or everyone dying either. As you said, only change...on every level.

We're all gonna' die and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

I believe that this same question, "where are we going?", will still be asked millions of years from now.

For most of us, the cause will probably be related to old age...

"We're all gonna' die and there's not a damn thing you can do about it." Obviously.
I take solace in knowing that.
I don't want to save lives, but to merely do my best to enrich the lives of my loved ones and therefore my own. That's what the future holds for me.

I kinda think it will happen like this.
1. A nuclear attack will happen on american soil soon 2. The NewWorldOrder's forces will march the globe 3. The Fake alien invasion ( its really just secert establishments building these units for years). 4. Everyone on earth will hear a voice in the heads one day(electronic frequency technologies, that will open all 3rd eye's, and implement a message) ( something like "i have come") Everyone Everywhere! (the rise of the anti-christ)(when i refer to the anti-christ i mean agianst find god in yourself) 5. 1/3 or the earth vegation will be gone ( look at columbia now), 1/3 of earths waters will poisen (Giveing corps. premission to dump shit in oceans), 1/3 of the skys will darken due to pollution( OIL OIL OIL). 6.We try to form a cashless society (mark of the beast) (angel technologies), This same mark will enslave your 3rd Eye (Enslaving your soul) 7. (2012 has something to do with this) We as humanity will figure out that no *one* human can be god, and that god is in yourself (we are creators of our own destiny) (aka the return of christ meaning the simple knowleadge of god in yourself) 8. We rebuild a world of TRUE freedom and peace.
Youll see shit like :
Youll see water monoploylized (shit spelling) Youll see corperations that are the new slave plantations. (they always said that the south will rise agian)(almost already are) In the end 3/4ths of the world populations will be killed.
So ya in the end will all die

The McKenna brothers had some crazy theory that was about novelty (change). They mapped out the accelerating rate of change using fractals ? (I really have no idea how they did this) and at a certain point (Decemeber, 2012) they said that if you were to map out an X/Y axis and plot a line that represented change, that at this time the line would reach a slope of 1 (vertical) and change would be the only thing that existed at all. Sounds like a climax of some sort to me, but who the hell knows. I'm gonna ask Dennis McKenna about this whole novelty theory thing on the 25th hopefully.

I just hope something really big happens in our lifetime.
I'd hate to die and not experience anything extreme like alien contact or THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT.

I believe burglar rabbits with luminous eyes will hop the earth undeterred by men. They will travel in small herds known as "pez-dispencers". At night the pez-dispencers will look like little convoys of car --their eyes like headlights--, stopping here and hopping there, illuminating the ground and the plants (that they steal). These burgler rabbits will be very intelligent and capable of destroying us if they want to --but they won't for the sake of the ecosystem.
