Giving other people weapons.
    #967237 - 10/16/02 10:31 PM (15 years, 3 months ago)

It seems that the US gives weapons to people, only to end up fighting these people a few years down the road.

I wonder how long till we are back in Afganhistan.

The way Afghanistan is rapidly descending into complete anarchy who knows. But then again - the US will just "rearrange the rubble" and kill another few thousand innocents with another air war and install yet another bunch of savage maniacs in power. Afghanistan will be fighting for freedom for a long time yet.

Don't worry, B. Caapi

I didn't see the "afghanistan and I thought you were talking about the US in 2001.

Not gives, sells. Defense contractors get paid one way. Then when it's time to turn our old 'friend' into the new 'enemy', they're equipped with all our old military weapons technology. So of course we need to spend more money developing newer, better weapons of our own to take them out. Defense contractors get paid again. Nice self-sufficient cycle there...
