Dose Cooking mushrooms (mainly Liberty caps and Blues) that are fresh kill things such as bacteria and others things not wanted, i was told there can be heart worm in them too, I've only had dryed mushrooms over the summer, this is my first season and im hoping to find some. Thanks.

It will kill bacteria if you cook em high enough, it was also kill all the psilos.

Dont cook em, dry em out and dont pick rotting mushrooms and you should be a-ok.

You will only lose the psilocybin if you heat the mushrooms over a certain temperature. However, as a rebuke, there are arguments stating that by heating shrooms you activate other chemicals. But when I dry shrooms the only things Iv'e ever had to worry about is maggots... And I rarely have that problem.
