Just substitute coir for peat moss

I use straight sterilized coir. :cool: Simple and effective.

yeah, as dog said, i use coco coir and nothin' else as casing material.

Coir is also a great casing material for dung bulk teks.

Straight coir cantaminates easily because of it's acidic pH which favours contaminants, you can fix that by adding crushed oyster shell or calcium carbonate or lime.

I havent seen too much contamination problems with using straight coir...its when you get it too wet is when you run into problems...

Make it drier when applied, and spray with a very dilute h202 mist.
