Pink Dust Mold - WTF?

I had a bunch of jars that I forgot to PC. I took the tinfoil off of one and there was a pile of PINK DUST on top of the jar and some of it went airbourne! It scared the hell out of me!!

I have never seen anything like this and none of the other jars had it. I didn't keep that jar around too long, just threw the whole thing out. What the hell was it - anyone know??

Not known to be dangerous to humans.
