Stop thinking of war and visualize peace. My signature explains why.

Don't get me wrong, I sympathize with your goals but that's a rather naive way to attempt to accomplish anything. As my grandmother used to say, "Wish in one hand and spit in the other, then see which one fills up first." (but what did she know, a simple immigrant with only an eighth grade education who died with multiple income properties and oil wells, without even a penny's worth of debt)

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

All I'm saying is that it makes a big difference what you think about because thoughts manifest in reality.

Yes, but only if you use those thoughts as a basis for actions.

I don't totally believe that, but in this day and age, that is all it comes to. I do wish peace could come in simpler ways.

I don't like visualization. There are more than 2 (or 3) dimensions to most concepts. Better to thinktualize things, feeling the data-relationships as pure n-dimensional thought. I am unsure how common this ability is, though. People call it different things, from "understanding" to "grokking" to even "visualizing" (even though there's little to no vision involved).

How can one visualize peace anyways? Better to conceptualize vibes of contentment and inaction. Remaining constant and in harmony rather than always searching for something. Sleep, instead of 10 hours laying in bed after a speed crash thinking about sleep.

Over-verbalizing thought causes one to reject any thought which cannot be verbalized.

I like to visualize. It's easier than working for a living.

Cheers,
