Cause is found in reviewing historical trends, not in looking at statistics over the past few years and dismissing them as arbitrary.
Take a few years and read about the history of the countries in the top five. What is it that increased life expectancy there in the past 100 years? The cause will be clear.
He was talking about STANDARD OF LIVING which is a significant competent of the HUMAN POVERTY INDEX, wiki that

There are way too many parameters into the equation necessary to make any index justice. Lifestyle etc.
Anyways instead we could use the happy planet index! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Planet_Index
Let's all move to Vanuatu! Wherever that is

According to the Swedish organization responsible for crime statistics (BRÅ), people born outside of Sweden have a higher risk of being reported for crimes than people born in Sweden. However more than 85% of immigrants are never suspected of any crime. According to BRÅ it's twice as common for people born in foreign countries to be accused of crimes, but it's less likely for them to be involved in them. Immigrants are responsible for 16% of crimes reported and convicted crimes, whereas those born in Sweden to Swedish parents for 10%. However, if you compare the immigrants with Swedes of the same social standing (immigrants have much lower income and live in worse conditions than the average person with Sweden-born parents), you find that "Swedes'" crime statistics go up to 20%. [
The Lefties have been blaming segregation and poor living conditions since the 90s and while it does have some merit, being poor (relatively speaking) is no excuse to act as animals.
I've seen people spin BRÅ's figures in every direction to meet their arguments such as including Scandinavian immigrants etc in the figures. But no matter how you spin the statistics our 10% immigrants are responsible for more crime than the rest of´the native population.
It gets even worse if you look at statistics from the cities that immigrants tend to move to. The communities with large amounts of immigrants such as Malmö, Södertälje, Landskrona etc have extreme amounts of immigrant related violent crimes. Take a loot at the statistics for rape, robberies and such from any of those cities.
I'm getting so fucking tired of politicians pampering these people and making excuses.

But socialism worked so well in Russia, France, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, etc.
Those places are paradises full of great culture, smart people, good living, etc.
