The bulk out of the cake look like little equators. Those are actually two, from different angles. They sort of "unfolded" out of the top and they are only two days old. Here two more pics to give some perspective.....Frankenstein's shrooms

wrong, if the strains arnt compatible, they will simply grow and live side by side. Inoculating substrate with 2 different strains can indeed result in a cross, or you may end up having fruits from both strains.

Yes, maybe live side by side and having fruits from both next to each other, but crossing and create a NEW type of mushroom? No to my knowledge!

I'm gonna mix 1 pint of chitwan wbs with 1 pint of pe wbs, mix some bulk sub in and see what comes out.
If that doesn't work, I'm gonna combine a cloned sample of pe with a cloned sample of chitwan and see if that does anything.
I know it's unlikely, but possible. Won't really be any extra work over what I'm doing anyway and worst case, I get 2 strains in the same tub, best case, I get some crazy looking stuff and get to name it something stupid :-D
