4oz. jars

I read that you could grow a tiny tek with 4oz. jars. is this a bad idea. or would it be wourth trying?

why not use 8 oz (1/2 pint) jars? seems the best combination of enough food and fast colonizing. you'd have to use twice as many 4 oz = twice as many chances for contams, twice as much space to fruit, potentially smaller fruit and smaller flushes, with the only benefit being faster colonizing.

my friend uses 8oz jars and they colonize in half the time as 1/2 pint jars. 8oz is small and i would imagine that 4oz would be too small. although it would be faster. the only use i see in 4oz jars is using them in a casing because they wouldn't get that much of a flush of the cake itself.

i believe 8 oz is 1/2 pint. i know 8 oz is one cup and two cups make a pint, but my calculator is broken.
