Small dose at concert.

OK, so A friend and I are going to a Pink Floyd tribute band concert soon. We are planning to do a half hit of acid, BUT my parents may have to pick us up after the concert. So, assuming its an average hit of acid, would a half hit wear off in a few hours? Hopefully the concert would be like 3-4 hours. OR should we just do mushrooms since they dont last as long? I would probly do a little under a gram.
Of course its possible that we can get a ride from someone other than my parents, so does anyone have any tips for tripping at a concert?

Do you by any chance live in NZ? There's a Pink Floyd Tribute band playing here soon as well. I already have my ticket. The concert is about 3 or 4 hours long. Might want to do shrooms for it, eat them about 30 mins before the doors open, and then once you're in and show's started, the shrooms will be kicking in. As for the parents picking you up, isn't there another way to get home? Perhaps the bus? A friend of yours who can drive? You should be fine tripping at this concert, it's not your typical concert with thousands of sweaty people crushing you and the heat suffocating you. Most people will just be standing and watching the show or doing a little dance. Great atmopshere. And being as it's a Pink Floyd Tribute concert, pretty much everyone else will be either stoned or tripping.

I took a hit of acid once and then went to sleep, I woke up the next day forgetting that I took it before I went to bed and went nuts, but I could control it really well. You will definately be a little high when you see your parents, but you should definately be able to control it, I knew I could control it the first (and only) time i did it.

The band is called "The Machine".They were gonna play Darkside Of The Moon (in its entirty) and have The Wizard of Oz on some screens or something. Turns out its an 18+ show anyway. Damn. Lately Ive been wondering about tripping in public and stuff. Like I asked before, I know acid usually lasts 8-12 hours, but if I took a half hit or smaller, would it be a little shorter trip maybe? Or does it always last 8-12 no matter the dose?

That's a shame, that'd be a great place to trip. Taking half a tab will still make it last 8-12 hours. The effects just aren't as strong. But taking larger doses does seem to make it last a little longer, or maybe it just seems like it.

I would never trip on acid if i had to see my parents that day. Just the thought of having to see them would ruin my trip. Probably they would notice even if it was 6-8hrs after i dosed.
My advice is don't trip (even on shrooms) if you will have to be with your parents later. Try to get a ride from someone else or go home by bus!
