heres the situation
some shrooms are growing on some BRF cakes, lookin good, gettin about 2, 3 inches high, time to harvest soon, when a contam is spotted. now, the safe thing to do is throw them out, but man those shrooms are lookin good, and theres a bunch cause the cake was dunked, plus all the time put into them would be wasted along with the cake.....
now these shrooms no doubt sucked up some contams, so eating them might be harmfull to your health.....
but is there a way around that? could you some how get the psilocybin out, by extraction methods perhaps, and leave the contams behind?
......just a thought....said cake was tossed  so dont worry

I would toss them. I know of people who have eaten mushrooms from contaminated cakes and have not gotten sick, but I would not take the risk. An extraction would probably extract any harmful substances as well as the stuff you want. Proceed at your own risk.

that is what i thought....and im not very big on taking risks.....but there are a bunch who are, and im just wondering...lol i hate to see that stuff go to waste.....

Yes you can , but tek is used on mycelium grown on agar , not sure how it would work on bad cakes .
It takes 100 grams of mycelium to extract 2 grams of "pure" psilocybin . That is a lot of f'ing mycelium to grow and harvest , is a waste in my eyes .
Do you have that much myc ????????
If so........... I will try to find the tek for extraction and get it to you .

no, that was not the intended message at all! what i was trying to say was, that there might be people out there who have tried to salvage the psilocybin from contaminated cakes.... not that id ever eat or feed "green shroom" to anyone....this question is asking if we can get rid of the green somehow, and trip safely

I'm a dumass so, If it only caught the green, I'd go for it. Its never stopped me from eatting my goddamn sandwich....
I've always bought into the idea that the fruits are put out ASAP in contaminated conditions, and SHOULD be therefor rather clean. Overmisting directly onto the fruit is another hand entirely though...

Well... If it was ME, and this is ONLY if it was me, I'd eat the suckers. My reasoning is they grow in the wild with shit and corruption rampant all around them, they're probably sucking up bad shit, PCB's and whatnot like crazy, yet the ones in the wild don't kill you...

Only one way to find out 😂😂😂 but yea if its from overspray i wouldnt eat it but just a Lil on the cake after the shroomies are up and look good....shiiiiiiit haha.
