YES! ahhh shit it pisses me off so much to pay "retail" (4-5 bucks) for a few hits of acid and feel next to nothing. Then other times I'll drop a dolla on a friggen sweet tart someone says they put cid on and trip balls. *sigh*

Forgive me for asking, but why would anyone want to take 40 hits of acid? What does one accomplish from this action? I could see taking up to 10, but after that it's rather pointless.. is it not?

true, i would never trip on anything higher than 7 or 8 hits (at least for now) not as much because of safety and whatnot but because a 40 hit trip would cost roughly 200 bucks FOR ONE TRIP! now unless you make your own or have a free supplier...or are bill gates.....then id say 40 bucks for one trip is the limit.

Hydro ,I guess it's one of those things people disagree on. I agree with you anything over 10 seems like a waste , but the mental fuk keeps increasin over 10. Sure strength makes a difference but unless you get some bunk doses, I've not noticed a better trip from 8, 10 or 15. My best trips have come from 4-5 gel tabs. I've never had a bad gel tab........

ive never had access to any kind of acid except on PEZ...gel tabs from what ive hear are more powerful mostly than pez, probably cuz of the way in which its stored...
We're all mad here...

well 40 bucks isn't even what I paid.Ten v's for 800,sold most of it at 3 a hit.I think I kept 2 v's and still made 500-600 bucks.Anyways we kinda accidentally took that much.I had one vial that was dilluted and one that wasn't.well you can figure what happened.I've taken 20-30 on purpose before though,it's just out of curiousity,see what you can take kinda.I've even betted w/ people to see who would take more.Acid is safe and I don't really care about much so I say fuck it.I'm not to worried about going overboard or ending up in a mental institute.It's just acid.I'm just a crazy kid that used to do anything.

I will definetly disagree with this.I take 20 and trip balls.I take 40 and i can tell you it was definetly twice as hard.I couldn't even focus for 4-5 hours.I mean I could not recognize the world.Grass was sky,sky was water,I didn't even know where I was for a little bit.I even felt drunk off of it,stumbling,mumbling,shit ,the more you take the more you get.I have taken 10 numerous times and can say for sure anything over 10 is not just pointless waste of LSD.As for getting anything out of it,no way was way to fucked up.I usually can learn on less than ten,but I usually keep to myself ,take it all in.I don't get along socially well,everything seems like a front to me anymore,which is prolly from the acid.But after 10-20 you lose thought patterns and revelations.That's why I took that much.It helped me get over that social anziety,I don't care what people say in the background anymore,I lost my mild parranoia.

egolesss, death due to to lsd is caused by respiratory failure. Basically where there's too much lsd (or other substance) in your blood and not enough oxygen.
Tripping into death - interesting thought though!

I know people that have, and I don't know anyone that hasn't when they followed it by a hit of salvia. I was nearly non functioning for 2 hours after that

I have done up to 12 hits or so, but having tripped two days before it probably evened out to a bit lower, maybe nine?
I have friends that have taken full dropper's in one dose, 20~ hits and have come out fine.
The quality of the acid has a lot to do with it, more than the quantity in some cases. I took two hits of extremely strong L and lost my mind for a while, probably the hardest I've ever tripped.

I am very sure that people have done it. I personally never have done that under the influence of mushrooms, but im sure if you consume enough of any hallucinogen that it could happen.

My cousins standard dose without tolerance became 20-30 hits. He has eaten 100 at a Dead show and come back fine.
I myself have eaten 1,000 mics - it was bliss.

Never done more than 4, and don't think I ever would. I would lose my shit if I dosed as high as some of you guys. Don't think the ol' serotonin receptors could handle it.

try taking atleast 550ug lsd and smoke about 0.3g of weed then see how high you will fly xD!!
I did that and i happen to go into a breakthrough ( ego death ). It was hard to comprehend ( no joke man ), heavy breathing, was going to vomit but i handled it pretty well, close to fainting, kept my eyes closed since it was too much stuff to look at ( everything was melting together ), i even was "this" close to call an ambulance. but trust me, it was "THE" best experience i ever had ( and this is when i knew that this dose is my limit xD )

I have eaten a dose of one weighed ounce of psilocybe cubensis (57 whole dried mushrooms), and concluded that no transcendental experience is possible from the ingestion of that level of dosage. I am quite sure that I am capable of eating 4 or more times that dosage (one must put such a dose in a grinder to reduce it to convenient ingestibility)-- a quarter of a pound-- without ever experiencing the phenomenon commonly known as ego loss, and which I have known (through LSD) as the becoming-the-universe experience. It just doesn't happen. I am currently (and hereby) searching for serious researchers in ultra-high-dose phenomenological research in LSD.
I do not know whether or not such transcendence is possible through ingestion of peyote, mescaline sulphate, or any other psychedelic substance (though I have taken some very large doses of both).
Is anyone interested in knowing? Heck, there's probably a research grant available to a credentialed research or research team. I am offering myself as a subject and participant in such research. Please correspond if interested. I will send an email address to anyone who establishes any reasonable credentials in response to this post. Thank you.
