oh yeah, also, what could i use for filters for pf jars, cause I wanna leave the lids on loose, cause i think last time i tried growing that's why it was goin so slow (was over two years ago, can't really remember)

I'm only as confused as I allow myself to be , but for simplicity and assumption sake , I felt this person needed to make a choice and follow through with one method , then experiment . It also appears they need to read some more . :cool: 
And "basically " there are two choices ...........cakes...........or bulk subs , how you innoculate them has options , what you use as a food source has options (i.e. grain , brf , agar ) You could even make cakes , crumble them up and put into a bulk substrate , anything bigger than my hand is bulk to me .
