we all do
just 1 tip,dont buy drywall and try to grind it your self
its a BITCH and takes way too much time/effort
the sheet i bought was 24 by 24 and cost 5 busks
you can get a 15lb bag of the same shit for 15 bucks
a way better deal, i will use the remainder of that sheet to fix some shit around the house
but next time i will buy the bag

yea when the jar starts to colonize
it looks like cobweb,but thats just what the myc looks like
as it grows it will look whiter and more dense
kinda like this

OK. I will keep it going.
I used a ton of LC. Hopefully that's just extra water against the glass, not a contamination.
Oh, and it's spring wheat grain.

this
1/8th inch hole filled with silicone
1/4 inch hole with a small circle of tyvek held on by micropore tape
i use these for all my jars
and as you can see from the pics i have no problems

Bags of gypsum, it's already ground and it doesn't have paper. Or you could try to use a piece of drywall, but he said it was a pain.
