Hi everyone, I was wondering where I could find desiccant packs for putting in my storage jars? I'd rather use something that came prepackaged in small packs specifically for food etc.

Kitty litter, anything made of pure silica gel is the same thing as desiccant. Throw it in paper towels to make packets.

I made that mistake only once and never used it again,that kitty litter stuff is great,I used to just get them dry(Fan dry,I'm lucky enough that I can get cracker dry by fanning alone cause there is no humidity here so I don't need a dehydrator or desiccant for drying,just storage) but after they were dry I would store them with that kitty litter stuff and they stayed perfect forever :rockon:
