No offense to Mississipi, but this terminology has been brought up by someone esle, in response to what seems a lot of BAD government.
I know for one that police misconduct, government corruption, government competance and many other aspects of our justice system and other branches is really bordering on, and has for years, really brining the quality of life down in colorado.
the internal affairs and sheriffs office in my area is as corrupt as hell, you have abusive officers, you have a DA with a criminal record, you get the run around when your a VICTIM.
What is wrong here? anyone else from colorado notice the streets have potholes, the government employees are stupid, dishonest, and a growing resentment by young and old alike about whats going on here?
I live around littleton (thats where columbine happened) and I think this once great state is becoming increasingly a bad place to live, and I dont think im alone, I want to hear from shroomerites who live in CO about what they experience as a whole.

No, but there is a Park County SW of Denver in the Rockies.

there was once a very very small town called "south park city"
When I worked for Uhaul, we drove to durango because so many trucks where being dropped off there. (many people where leaving the state, trucks where in such a short supply that we did this, which isnt normal)
and I drove a truck back. Fairplay, bigger than south park city was, has a sign with the south park kids on it, NO KIDDING!
No, its not a real city anymore, I dont know if the creators knew, but its way cool to see the south park kids on this sign and them honoring it.
one of them is from conifer.

I'm sorry to hear that. I planned on moving to CO when I'm done with school. I was thinking about either Boulder or Colorado Springs. Believe me, we have shitloads of potholes where I live too. There is a nice patch I have to drive over every morning on the way to school, I just cringe every time, hoping my truck makes it through. I like to have as little involvement with government employees, police, Da, ect. as humanly possible, although like you said if you're the victim...you don't really have a choice. Damn dirty cops...

It is just a pain in the ass for the government to do anything around here. how sad is this?

I live in Denver, as you know and I don't think it's really changed, it's always been like this. Maybe your perception has changed? You're growing older? But of course, you will disagree.
You need to go visit other places. This is like every other place -corrupt officials and police officers, poor infrastructure etc...
Welcome to 2009, buddy.
