A bit of help...
    #961655 - 10/15/02 01:43 AM (15 years, 9 months ago)

Hello, I'm new to this so this might sound a bit dumb. I live in East Central Oklahoma, mostly temprate forest and cow pastures here. I also live right near a large lake. I have hunted cow pastures 3 times from 2:30 am until about 6:30 and I've managed to come up with nothing... I should also probably note that it has rained lately, and that the temps are from about 65 to about 45. Do any of you all konw if anything might grown on or around the lake because these pastures arent' giving me anything... Or how about the forest? Thanks in advance...

i think your best bet is still the pastures.
the wood-lovers (aside from weilii) are unlikely to grow there. for that matter, neither is weilii.
try during the day.
get permission.
ask em if you can hunt for an endangered species of plant on their property.
once the temps sart gettin too cold, you might just have to order some spores and deal with it.
good luck.
