Eh, i figured id be a little more neat in my lid preparations. I was thinking about it, but i rather just buy small rubber stoppers that will fit nicely into pre-drilled holes. i will then fill the stoppers with silicone and seal it to the lids with silicone. IMO it would be a better self healing port than just silicone alone. Nice, thick, and snug.

Cool deal, I sent an email to MB telling him about the
mistake in the jars, and he said he'll send me out some
replacements. Now I'm happy again.:)
