Buried cakes.

I just buried 2 contaminated cakes, both with specks of green mold, I then buried these cakes in my back yard. I have heard mother nature does a great job of correcting these contamination issues, but am wondering since mushrooms contain what they are grown with, if it is safe to consume them if they grow?
I have heard of people getting sick so I would be apprehensive to eat them
