How do u know when FC humidity is too high? what happens to the cake?

What do you mean by "humidity too high" when the recommended RH is >95%?
It would be much easier if you show us pics and explain what you are SEEING and why you suspect that something is not right.

well either too high or too low, what causes extended mycelial growth on complete and birthing cakes in the FC

Have you just birthed them? That'll sometimes happen when you just birthed them and freed them from their "casket". You also need to give them more FAE (fresh air exchange). The humidity has nothing to do with this. Keep it above 90% and mist regularly. Fan even more vigorously.

Are your cakes directly on perlite? I've seen what you describe happen to a lot of people that do that. You're supposed to put the cakes on something (jar lid, foil, etc)

Coo. i believe thats it, i just birth them and the myc is VIGOROUSLY coming thru the rolled verm layer. Currently 2 pins, and plenty of tiny hyphal knots on the more mature mycelial growth on the other end. thanx.
