I have a single mushroom with a stem split and green runing throughout the entire stem if I crack dry it will it be ok to eat? Is it harmless to you?

Some green molds are very harmful to humans, throw it out.

I've had mushrooms that grew extremely large and the stem split under the weight of the mushroom.

Was this a small mushroom or a rather large one? Is the green really green or could it be blue bruising? The splitting of the stem could cause the mushroom to bruise.

If you can't really tell throw it out. You don't want to risk your health for just one shroom when you can grow another batch anytime.

Don't throw it away.
Sometimes mushrooms have an olive green tint on the inside of the stem. This isn't contamination.
If it looks like a mould, then its bad and is contamination.
If its the olive green tint, this is normal.
Could you further describe it, or take a pic?
Does the green come off on a tissue when rubbed?

Good luck
