Interesting. Well, just for comparison you have preservatives in potato flakes which a lot of people use in the grocery tek agar.

Yeah, salt is the iffy one. Remember bread has a lot of salt in it too.

Tissue =/ so it's a crapshoot.  I did 15 of them in my gb with a flamed needle and alcohol on each jar, so hopefully at least one will come out. Also PC'd the syringe first and alcohol/bleach sprayed the GB about 10 min before using.

ok guys i have good and bad news
first the good,there is NO signs of contam in any of the jars
now for the bad,there is no myc either
so now i have a question
i have an ATL#7 LC i made that is awesome
i knocked up 5 QT's of wbs with it 3 days ago
and i see good growth in all of them already
so i was thinking i would knock the bread jars up again with that
what do you guys think?
