Top 2 pics are of a group of cluster mushrooms found growing from decaying wood/black soil in the forest.

Bottom pic was found growing in driveway in red soil.

No bluing reaction on either, but am curious to both IDs. Thanks!

You should get spore prints, especially for the second one.

The cluster of mushrooms are Armillarea mellea, Honey Mushrooms. They are edible, but many people get sick eating them anyway. These specimens look old, so I don't recommend eating them. If you find younger ones, be sure you cook them thoroughly before eating. They should have white spore prints.

The other mushroom looks like Psathyrella velutina. It should have a purple brown to black spore print.

Excellent photos.

Happy mushrooming!

Yes I believe those are Psathyrella velutinas on the bottom. They grow like mad here in the spring after the first rains. Now I know they grow in the fall too!

Those honey mushrooms look cool, I'm going hunting tomorrow too. Look for more pics hehe
