Monotub: early primordia

So I've been testing out these new vents and my first try I used tyvek inserts during colonization.
Well, that wasn't really the way to go (using polyfill now/next time) so this tub got a bit too much fae.
It's on day 10 now and about 98% colonized on top. The only non colonized portions are spots where the surface wasn't even and it has a few lumps/chunks on top. I'll spend more time making sure the surface is even next time.
But now primordia is forming. You really can't see it in this pic, but it's there and there's quite a bit of it.
So what do I do now? Let it colonize longer? Go ahead and case as is?
I'm planning on doing a very light casing. about 1/8th inch and not worried about covering it well just enough to provide that microclimate.
Here's the pics:
Day 7:

Day 8:

Day 10

For those interested I made 2 of these tubs. 1 brick coir + 5 gallon bucket of hpoo, 2 quarts verm, 2 quarts coffee, 2 quarts gypsum. A few tablespoons of lime added to the hpoo. Once it was pasteurized it was all mixed together/blended up then 16-17ish quarts into each tub + 3 quarts WBS + 3 quarts ground pf cakes(each tub).
It was all blended together for a few minutes with a kitchen mixer, then about 1/2" of plain substrate added on top to cover any grains/pf chunks.
Incubated at 70-75f for 10 days. Never opened.

hmm maybe try to raise the c02 content of the tub. maybe vinegar and baking soda in a 5 gallon poured into the tub?

I'll check it tomorrow night. if I don't see significant colonization of the 'hills' I'll just pluck them out and case it. It's really not much just a couple quarter size pieces.

lmfao not actually pouring it into the tub itself, mixing it in a 5 gallon jug and pouring the c02 that accumulated from the chemical reaction.

i would go ahead and case. a thicker casing layer has typically given me less/no aborts, so i wouldn't go too thin. it also lets the mycelia know that it has run out of nutritive substrate and it is time to fruit.
