I'm going to risk rehatching an old theme here and say that maybe if we were more open to everybody's beliefs (newcomers and others alike), then people would feel more comfortable posting what they feel.

Generally we like to keep the threads in here on the three topics listed in the description. Try doing that in the future. None of the Mods like creating or enforcing rules but this question could have been asked in other ways.

this forum is dead because people usually love what they believe in, and therefore have pride in it. and anything people have pride in, they get touchy about...and anything people get touchy about, they get easily offended about. and if people get offended they don't come back.
simple if you look at it right. i quite posting here awhile ago because i have a pride problem. i'm getting over it like a bad addiction...but you know...pride is the worst drug in the world. it makes you feel good one minute, and the next, if it's injured, then it makes you feel like shit. hang overs for days.

This forum is far from dead. I oughta know. I read every post and thread. It ebbs and flows and this is one of the slower cycles but it is far from dead.

Go to the literary forum. They're giving sex advice over there to attract people. :smirk:

Because most people who post here are preachers(not neccesarily religous) and the active congregation is relatively small. So what you have is a lot of preachers preaching to other preachers which surely must be some form of hell. That's why I rarely post here. That and the fact that I find myself talking less about these matters as I grow older.

This forum I have bookmarked and visit everday a couple times, the other forum I got to is the political discussion. i think a lot of people visit here but don't post anything unless they have something worthwhile to add. keeps the mod's job easy :grin:
