Fatasses cracking???

My friend has this fatass shroom growing, and due to circumstances beyond his control he had to leave the light off for a day. When he turned it on this morning, it looked like the shroom has shedded its skin, and is growing inside of the old one, and the cap has white flakes in a circle.... Is it still good to grow or should it be removed? The cakes are not contaminated and there are other shrooms forming, just this one looks very bizarre...

Sounds like its still good. A lack of light for a day would not cause any harm. The white flakes in a circle on the cap are normal.
