is the shroomery wrong?

i've noticed that the numbers used in the shroomery dosage calculator are completely different from the numbers cited in Erowid's Potency Scale . the potency scale includes references, so it seems more official....which one should i trust?

none, just take 1gram for your first time.then add .5 as you want :grin:

I have never and will never use a screen in a glass piece.
That defeats the purpose of having a glass piece. Must be a canadian thing.

They are not completely different.
The dosage calculator calculates both for fresh mushrooms as for dried mushrooms.
When you dry the mushrooms, some of the psilocybin and more of the psilocin is lost due to oxidation. This is taken into account with the dosage calculator.

The Erowid table gets its data from this chart:

Notice that those are the reported MAXIMA of the analyzed samples.

On average the mushrooms are less potent.
