It's been so damn hot and dry lately... I haven't seen a mushroom for days now.
How is it for everyone else in florida?

Man I am going nuts here.
It hasn't rained more than 5 minutes in the past 2.5 weeks.
Hoping these thunderstorms that are predicted actually make their way inland already... I'm planning a 2-day camping excursion/mushroom expedition in the woods of Sarasota.
Do the rain dance (boogie oogie oogie).

It rained a bit today, but didn't seem to be sufficient to wake up the shroomies.
The weather is calling for more rain tomorrow afternoon. Let's hope it is a sustained rain for more than a couple of hours.
Peace to Everyone,
Peaceful Nomad

The winter time is actually the secret time for finding the very best fruits of the year here in florida. The best quality fruits are found during late november through december and january when the weather is nice.

"The best quality fruits are found during late november through december and january when the weather is nice.".....
I am not saying that I live in FLA but theoretically if I did I would have to question that one. How far south in FL do you have to be to benifit from that claim?
If for some reason I was parallell with Orlando, I definately could not agree with you. After the first indications of weather shift to < 80' I find that the crop dissapears completely. This has seemed to apply to Tampanansis, Cubensis and various bluing LBM's (not like I would take any of those buggers anyhow.)
I cannot agree with you, maybye I am out of a loop I do not know...the only crop that is massive and plenty where I live in december is the one out of my converted spare bedroom.

Went out tonight and there were 4 other people in the field LOL! Orlando is to populated, as the whole massive field was freshly picked. I ended up leaving with a few bags o' shit though =)
