I agree. $50 is not much, i don't think taking it is going to greatly effect anyones life. But collectively it would greatly improve my own. So its minimum harm for maximum gain in that situation.

If I took 10 million from anyone, I know that it would eventually lead to my demise. I'd end up 20 in debt. If you're not in the thick of earning that shit, it just disappears. No thankyou, I want to earn it.

I don't think i would take that much from people. That truly is evil.
I'm only concerned with harmed caused not about the "immoral" act of stealing. If stealing caused only a very small amount of harm it would not bother me, i think people get instinctively upset about it because they have been taught the ten commandments their whole lives, not because they are logically assessing the amount of harm caused.
But $10,000 causes a lot of harm. So its logical to be upset about that.

most people on here probably only have 100 bucks to their name and no saving or pensions. so yes the percentage that i'd be stealing from who actually have assets would be small and those people are well off or will maintain so fuck it; yea.
