This guy weighed in at 53.3 Grams. Not a bad fruit. It's super thick and solid. It's got a tree trunk like stem that doesn't give. Best of all is that gills and some areas seemed to have spores on them. Not a lot of them had fallen off so it most likely was going to drop anytime soon. Hopefully I'll be able to print some of it. I already made two LC clone fluids off the stem. Hopefully they don't contaminate.

Oddly enough I found this guy growing off a strip of tape. Luckly the tape never broke and this guy got to grow super large. I had to pick it because it was blocking off the growth of some of my other mushrooms that are also close to this size. It also seemed like it was his time to go.

short thick fruits are nuts.
they always contain less water than regular sized fruits.

so instead of 5.0-5.3 grams dried, you might get 6g or more.

dry it and post the info

very nice. Hope you followed sterile procedure when LCing it. That'll be the key to good LC's.

For sure you can't even squeeze this guy. It feels like a rock is in your hand. I'm hoping for more than 5 grams dry.

I glove boxed it. Used alcohol to clean everything. I had a real liberal use of needles and syringes (I get them for free) and I threw out every glove after it had been out of the glove box. Hopefully everything comes out all right. LC's just seem to contam too easily. Out of my last 6 jars only one was contam free.

I know what you mean, mine grew me 4 pints of trich. So I went ahead and ordered everything for my flow hood and agar setup. Hopefully that'll make things easier.
