Obligatory "leaving for 2 weeks" thread

I know there have been many threads about this, and I did a search but didnt find the answers. Im hopeing someone whose done this can give me a good answer.
About the mushrooms: They are WBS and rye colonized to coir. Some are on the first flush, some on the last, some in between.
If I leave my mushrooms without a sitter for 2 weeks while I go on vacation, what will happen?
(id prefer input from those whove done this, rather than speculation, educated speculation is OK)

If you are seeing fruits now then you'll see a slimy black mess in two weeks.

The plan would be to pick all the mushrooms, even pins, right before leaving and keep it in the dark to prevent further pinning. Even then, would mushrooms pop up in that time and decompose?

on saturday, i'll know what i'm coming back to after two weeks of being away. I am certain that there will be a number of open mushrooms, though the heat in my house was turned off so that could slow it waaaaaay down

If you pick everything and then put it in a cool and dark place then you *might* be ok.

maybe put a thick casing layer on them right before you leave. take a week to grow through the casing, and when you get back, big caps.

That won't work. Darkness won't stop them from pinning once they have already fruited. If you don't want them to pin try lowering your humidity, this will dry your substrates but you can dunk them when you get back...

pick all the mushies. dunk. put them in a large rubbermaid/sterlite tubs with holes cut in it like a monotub, 4 at sub level and 4 at the top. put them in a cool place. light is fine. all of these things will slow the Myc. without killing them making a huge mess. there will be spores, lots of them. it will be close. some may be grotesque.
thats not a monotub, but 6 small casings that fit in the tub nicely with auto fae. polyfil holes is what you want.
those were left for a little over a week. they were huge and i just made a lot of chocolates with them, no problem.
2 weeks is the max though, like i said, it will be close. i say go for it. what else would you possibly do?

I came home to two tubs with 5 trays just like that. I freaked out and harvest everything right into the trashcan.
Man, I've been kicking myself since then. I literally threw away pounds of shrooms that looked just like yours thinking they were bad - fuck, I'm a newbie...
