So I've successfully grown using BRF cakes and I'd like to out grain with casing...
Is grain truly superior to BRF? Is casing that much better than just cakes? Anyone ever crumble and case their cakes?
Whatcha think y'all? Any ideas? (PS I'd be using LC)

if you use lc, do a test first. inject it into pf jar or something to make sure it's not contaminated (they often get contaminated, and it's hard to tell)
go to the cultivation archives, in the casing section. read stuff. it will help you. pick a casing mixture and go for it! also look at the sticky made by that nib guy. he's the one who looks like kramer

define better. It has been said, quite a few times, that BRF cakes are the most efficient way of growing, and they certainly are the easiest/least time and effort demanding.
Now if you want to grow a LOT and FAST, grain is the way to go. You can knock up 3 grain jars, use them to G2G transfer 30 (quart) grain jars and spawn them to 90 quarts of bulk sub... at 2-4 inches you're talking a good 300 square feet of mushies.
Casing cakes is fine, people do it.
LC's are fine, take the advice given and do a test before knocking up a bunch of jars.
